An accented grey fox sat at the table and got Hiyike's attention.
He was recognizable enough that the intention of the impromptu meeting was clear.
"A tall glass of rum?", he offered.

"No... thank.. you. I don't want to have a piss rocket.
I suppose it was only a matter of time before something came up on Miss Meiyr."

"Well, that name goes back to about 8 years ago.

You would not believe the kind of roadblocks there are to this information. A lot of this stuff wasn't just blacked-out documents and exotically encrypted files. I swear some of this stuff was guys at the datacenter literally pulling the network cables out to censor it.
Either she's got people...
Or some people... have her."

"and this isn't surprizing me in the least."

"I think it's probably more of the latter."

"The name: Catharine Yahimatigati.
Like a smart immigrant who had something to hide, she got her paperwork altered in Anline or Kolminaisus when it was still the Continental Republic. Got her name changed to something believably multi-generationally Miokalian.
Danta- sounds like it could be Hneidat Kuho. Meiyr sounds fairly Daeronese. She certainly has the looks to back it up."

Andertol thought for a moment, and then said,
"Yahimatigati isn't Kohtohkhan and not Hcotian. It's not Kuho and it's not Calie, and it's not KZ.
That name has to be from somewhere further north."

The ex-epsilon agent mentioned, "Quite north.
Somewhere around Shimandu and the Prefectures.
Probably Omega Rave or Outlandish.

At least that's where she was before she went through Anline..."

(To be continued... because I need to find where I put the rest of this post)

(Andertol's) To-Do List.

- Delete emails from pertaining to 'Moyga/Andertol Video Contest'. Not sure why this is even being sent here. Moyga isn't even running anymore.

- Anonymously FedEx a ziploc bag filled with poop to Radical Asshole Cleric of the week.
This week, it's the guy who said that anthro rodents "should be killed".
Label the box "Snuff porn". It gets them every time.

[s]- Call up Julia Yerzok's office, ask for Julia and pretend to be and investment banker and propose an extravagant sum of money for her soul.[/s]
Nevermind, she's in enough trouble. Got arrested.

- Continue 'your mom' joke war with Eyla Senator Takagahi d'Angeles.

- Say something obvious and bitter about current event to reporter.

- Sometime today: condemn in writing, the recent occurance where somebody actually "shaved the whales"... well, shaved *one* whale. One person actually acting it out makes the joke just that much less funny for everyone else.

- [s]How about: "Depilate the dolphins?[/s]
Dolphins don't have hair to shave, durrrrr

- Call up Meiyr, bluntly ask her why she's hiding that she's the daughter of a torrid love affair between a Shimandi banker and a Daisgian dragon. Then ask her if it has something to do with the fact she's only been in this country for 9 years or so, and would thus have a fundamentally harder time getting the kinda polls she has if everyone knew.

- Get in barky, clawsy dinosaur fight.

- Make a deal.

- Don't get assasinated.

The first Poll after the official subdividing of the temporary districts changed things substantially. Andertol suffered a 2 point loss to 32%. But the once untouchable Socialist, Meiyr, fell a shocking 15 points to 33%. The stakes for the coveted 40% just changed and it was once again open for anyone to take. Historically, it's whomever seizes the 40% poll prior to the conventions that leaves the conventions with something closer to 50% as the parties begin to consolidate campaigns. Though Andertol didn't have much in the way of canidates to compete against from his own party.

Tilje quit early and Analogue was asked to quit shortly after by the party. Mostly because he was too much like a relic of the Talbot administration in the late 80's.

Even though the general consensus of history has been kind to Coibo Talbot, his particular flavor of moderate conservative politics would no longer be quite so tolerable, especially since many of the regimes he became buddies with eventually imploded as a result of popular distaste and civil unrest.

OOC: I've basically completely been unable to develop a new character to win this, and I've been stuck on it for 3 months. So basically, the Andertol/Vuela ticket won. Yay I suppose. Moving on.

Andertol wasn't going to give up his office, as in the room, for anything. Even though technically miss Vuela was the new officer of his equivalent position. She got Phong's old office. Not that she cared much, it was higher and bigger than Andertol's, but the ceremoniality of the whole thing was a bit awkward. Since she now had the desk used by every president since DoVoto in the 80's (The previous desk had been completely destroyed in a bizzare ballooning accident)
Technically, she was now what Andertol was, essentially.
